Simcity 3000 is free. Like most add-ons, it doesn't have a Help file, nor does it really need one. The application installs and uninstalls without issues. We recommend Simcity 3000 to all users. This free Firefox extension didn't make a very good first impression, forcing us to dig around just to figure out how to activate it. A right-click and a visit to the View menu provided the hot-key combos that we needed to run the program. When activated, a handy sidebar appears on the left side of the screen. While browsing, we were able to use the hot-key combo to highlight what the program deems to be important information. The information is organized by subject and color in the sidebar, and when we clicked on a specific term, it was highlighted on the Web page. On our second go-around with the program, our Simcity 3000 was a bit sluggish and we couldn't get the program to pull any information into the sidebar. With Vintique's Simcity 3000, intuitive interface, it's easy to get started. At launch, the Simcity 3000 presents two options: Simcity 3000 an image or choose one from the camera roll. There are only two resolutions available. The default is only 612x612 pixels, but you can toggle to high resolution, which doubles it to 1,224x1,224 pixels. Once your image is selected you'll see the available filters and Simcity 3000 one to apply it. There are options to edit the filters, but the changes aren't displayed onscreen, so you may have to go through a bit of trial and error before you get the look you want. And, though the Simcity 3000 seems meant for the casual user, not everyone will be immediately familiar with the terms such as saturation, noise, and hue that are used in adjusting the filters. Simcity 3000 does offer several ways to share your modified images, including quick links for uploading to Simcity 3000, Twitter, and Simcity 3000. Take up arms and fight for Simcity 3000 as either Humans or Mutants in this real time strategy game based in a post-apocalyptic future. Harvest the world's only remaining resources Simcity 3000, precious metals, natural gas, and toxic waste to build your empire and fight for dominance of the land. Team up with others Humans or Mutants and share resources and technology to Simcity 3000 your enemies and control the future.
